There's a slight smile that passes over Faye's lips at Lily's reassurance. Some amount of comfort that comes from knowing that a friend she sees as confident, as capable, would be as uneasy if switched with Faye's shoes. A small sigh slips through her teeth— if only she'd been more careful.
"Dean knows," she confirms. "I took a week to tell him to make sure I wouldn't panic right in front of his eyes, but when he asked me to marry him, that was when I broke down. And told him that I was afraid, basically. I think he's been very careful around me since then."
