It's a question that gives Eames pause, his gaze fixed on her, relaxed but focused. Based on that alone, he knows that whatever it is, he's right about liking her already, but that's all the more reason why he should answer. He doesn't keep his skills sharp for no reason, after all, and however unknowingly, she's giving him exactly what he needs.
So for those few seconds, all he does is study her, with a crooked little smile, a reminder that all of this is merely a casual game between strangers, if only on the surface. He catalogs what he knows: she's beautiful and obviously knows it (if her clothing is anything to judge by, that is), she's unafraid to start a conversation with a stranger, she's a quick thinker, innovative. There are probably any number of possibilities, but he doesn't mean to go into specifics, anyway. It's too unpredictable around here.
"My guess is, something exciting," he says, absently twirling one of the makeshift poker chips between his fingers. "That required a good deal of thinking on your feet, but not so much as to leave you too high-strung for it; you know how to relax. If you were in London once and it was a long time ago, you likely traveled, as well." He pauses and smiles, too innocent to actually be believably so. "How'm I doing so far?"
