Faye snorts at the thought of Owen being banned from pet stores. It makes sense, she supposes. Someone coming in to buy the same kind of animal repeatedly probably looks suspicious, and people who care a great deal about animal rights would be disinclined to encourage that behavior.

"Don't they typically keep mice separated by sex so that they don't reproduce all over the place? Maybe I can just get one of each for you. You can make your own mice farm for whatever tests you need," Faye considered.
