"Okay," Faye sighed, feeling some margin of relief over the fact that wouldn't have to be the one to explain the mechanics of everything to Edward. Faye wasn't prepared to dive into that level of detail. Still, she rubbed at the back of her neck, finding that even the simplest of sentences became quite difficult to say aloud.
