He's right. He's right on the money. Fortunately, this is an area where Faye can afford to have other people know her a little more. There's nothing shameful about being a bounty hunter, exactly. Some people might talk about how true vigilantism doesn't take a tip at the end of the day, and how that selfishness means a whole lot more to the overall concept of justice, which a broken society like humans in the 2070s need pretty desperately. But the problem is, good will doesn't put food on the table. It doesn't buy the meals that keep Faye running from day to day. Anyone who's had to struggle at all in their lives knows that maintaining justice isn't something that comes without its costs.

Faye's just glad that this guessing game isn't extending to her personality.

"Pretty well," she smiles, her eyes drifting over to where the piece of paper twirls between his fingers. "Exciting, yes. Quick thinking, yes. Traveling, always. But knowing how to relax, I'm not sure that has too much to do with my job. Think I was just born with that."

She pushes forward a few of her makeshift chips.
