The energy business. It's not entirely implausible, though not the first thing that Faye would have guessed for this man, and so her brows simply raise in polite, marginally curious interest. As much as people like to say that someone's job says a lot about them and their preferences, Faye knows that isn't true. Most of the world doesn't get to do something they love for a living. Most people don't even necessarily get to do something they're good at for a living, so being in the energy business doesn't really reflect on Eames at all. Maybe that's what leaves her curious, still so many more blanks to fill.

"London," she repeats with a soft nod. "Been there once, many, many years ago. Don't remember it all that well." It's one of the things she's taken away from Spike, much to Faye's own detriment. Looking at life like it's some kind of dream that rests between the past and present.

She smiles, wishing that she had a set of poker chips, before she remembers that there's a bookshelf not far away. "What do you think I might have done for a living?" Faye asks as she saunters over to the shelf. Looking around for any meaningless title, Faye pulls out a book on space travel. Like she need any reminder. She only rips out the blank leaf toward the beginning, filler, and tears it into small markers, laying out a couple dozen for each of them.
